I have a strange attraction to graveyards. I'm drawn more to the stillness & reverence that they create, rather than the morbidity of them. So when I was out for a hike, I came across a private gravesite from 1774. There are only 31 unmarked graves, each crumbling form the wearing of time. Shooting out among the stones where these 4 feet high spears of white flowers. Each spear had over 2 dozen flowers on it, but I brought my focus into one. The simplistic bloom added to the ethereal feeling in the place.
